Tools Required:

  • Socket Wrench
  • 10mm deep well socket
  • Socket extension (optional)

The installation time for this product is approximately 5 minutes.

Procedure

Let's get started

    1. Uninstall the stock battery tie-down.

    Locate the stock battery tie-down

    Use the 10mm socket to partially  loosen the two nuts that secure the stock tie-down. Do not completely remove them.

    With the nuts partially loosened you will be able to unhook the  bolts from the battery tray and can then remove the stock tie-down

    2. Prepare the new CravenSpeed tie-down for installation.

    Transfer the nuts and bolts onto the new CravenSpeed tie-down.

    3. Install the new tie-down onto the battery

    Place the new tie-down into position and align the hooks into position on the battery tray.

    Pull up on the bolt to keep the hook engaged and finger tighten the nuts until they reach the tie-down.

    Use the 10mm socket to tighten the bolts fully. These don’t need a ton of torque, just enough to keep the battery secure.

    Once the bolts are tight, the install is complete!
