This install is very simple. Start by using some detail spray or other cleaner to wipe down the door jamb. It is important that the surface is clean to ensure good adhesion of the handle.
It’s a good idea to hold the handle up to the jamb before you peel the adhesive backing. Positioning of the handle doesn’t need to be exact, but you should aim for this general location:
If you need to, you can use some masking tape to mark the location. Peel the adhesive backing and stick the handle to the jamb. Apply firm pressure to ensure maximum sticktion. The first time you close the door, do so carefully to ensure that there is no interference with the body!
The hardest part of using the Jam Handle is remembering to use it!
