Scratch and Dent?
Occasionally, we get new parts or returns that have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the functionality of the part. Rather than toss them in the scrap bin, we offer the parts for sale at a deeply discounted price. In many cases, the location of the blemish prevents it from even being seen once the part is installed. Like all of our products, we still guarantee it to be the correct fit and to work properly and will offer to exchange components should anything need adjustment. Please note that we do not issue refunds for scratch and dent parts.

This discounted version of our shifter is made with either returned or blemished parts that cannot be sold as new. All defects are in appearance only and will be invisible once installed. The shifter will function 100% the same as a brand new version of our popular ND Miata shifter and includes the same lifetime warranty. This version does NOT include a shift knob.

Short shifter without shortcuts
Every piece of this shifter is precision machined from the highest quality materials. Everything you need is included: a little extra white lithium grease, a bit of thread locker, and even a tube of silicon gasket material to seal the shifter housing spacer.
The Specs
Stainless. Lots of it. The main shifter assembly and the hardware are all stainless steel. The upper pivot cup, reverse lockout plate and shift housing spacer. Fully assembled the shifter is only 1/8" shorter than the stock setup, while still achieving a 30% reduction in throw. The shifter maintains all reverse lockout functionality, simply push down to shift into reverse.
Installation
Installing the shifter can be done at home with basic tools. All of the work can be completed from inside the car, with all four wheels on the ground. Since the shifter runs directly into the transmission, there's no messing with shifter cables or wonky linkages. The install takes between 1 and 2 hours, and is very straightforward.

We ship orders every weekday. All orders placed by 2:00 pm PT will ship the same day. You will receive a shipping notification when we print the label for your order. The tracking will not indicate that the order has been shipped until it is picked up and scanned in by the carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PT on Friday will ship on Monday.
