How to Get Your Gauges Hooked Up Without Cutting and Drilling

All of our FlexPod products are designed to preserve the interior of your car so it can be returned to stock without leaving behind holes, adhesive or other damage. We apply the same principal to installation in the engine bay as well. That is why we have these adapters to allow easy installation of gauge sending units that would normally require heavy, irreversible modification. Perfect for installing most gauges in a MINI Cooper

Perfect for installing an oil pressure gauge
, the Tapless Adapter sits in line with the sensor for the ECU. Instead of drilling a hole in your oil filter housing, just screw the adapter in place and attach the sender to the 1/8 NPT thread on the adapter. We have two similar adapters to allow installation on both MINI engines. Space in the turbocharged second generation engine is at an even higher premium. In order to ensure that you will be able to mount your sensor, the Tapless is threaded on all sides of the hex. That way, you will have an open thread facing you no matter what. All of the other sides will be capped with included setscrew plugs.

You want a boost gauge
to deliver the real-time PSI that your new turbocharged MINI is pumping into your engine. The trick is, unlike many turbo setups, there is no soft line to put a 'T' into to deliver pressure to your gauge. Without our specially machined adapter, you would need to drill a tap hole in the manifold to run a line to your gauge. The PSIclone installs in line with the MAF sensor for the ECU, then you can just use the 1/8 NPT thread to quickly attach your line with just the pieces supplied with almost any boost gauge.
The Hotlink does not sit in line with a factory sender like the other adapters, but it does install easily without permanent modification. This piece replaces a coupling in the coolant hose of the second generation MINI engine. Our Hotlink coupling has a 1/8 NPT threaded tap for the sender. Thanks to your feedback, this adapter will now work on all second generation MINI models with or without standard transmissions.
Oil Pan Adapter
If you want to install an Oil Temp Gauge
, getting the temperature from your oil pan is now simple. Just install the temp probe into our specially machined adapter, then replace the drain plug in the oil pan with them paired together. One of the easiest gauge adapters to install.
All Second Generation John Cooper Works models have an N14 engine. For Second Generation JCWs please select the Cooper S R56 (2007-2010) car model option.
