A Turn-key Solution for Adding Gauges to Your MINI

It has been well established that the Mini lacks vital instrumentation. Here is a kit that provides everything you will need to remedy that situation. This kit include two gauges of your choice along with everything required to install them. You'll get the FlexPod to allow you to discretely and securely mount your new gauges on the steering column of your Mini Cooper. As with all FlexPod products, the installation requires no permanent vehicle modification. Our high quality machined aluminum mounting parts and Marshall Instruments gauges look stock once installed. That means you'll never have a reason to remove them... but if you did, all elements can be removed without damage to your Mini. The same is true for the included wiring and adapters that allow the painless installation of the sending units for the gauges.

A Preemptive Defense

An oil pressure gauge can give you a lot of information about the health of your vehicle. By establishing a good baseline knowledge of your Mini's oil pressure while the car is running well, you can be alerted to any issues before they become costly problems. Low oil pressure could be a sign of a leak, worn out oil, a low oil level, high oil temperatures, or a damaged oil pump. By discovering these issues before they lead to complications or engine failure you will be much safer in a Mini that will last longer. This gauge from, Marshall Instruments, runs on a stepper motor and includes a peak recall and warning feature. With this feature, you can set your gauge ring the alarm when your oil pressure has dropped out of your desired range. Using the included Tapless Adapter you will be able to install the oil pressure sender in line with the factory sender to ensure good reading and reversible installation.

Motoring Fun

A boost gauge may not carry as many vehicle health benefits as a oil pressure gauge, but it is easy to install and a fun gauge to have in your Supercharged Mini. The boost gauge is much more active than the pressure gauge which will have a relatively steady reading when all is well with your Mini. In contrast, the boost gauge is giving you the constantly changing PSI output of your turbocharger.

The Complete Gauge Kit comes with everything you need to mount two gauges on your MINI, but did you know you can have three or even four? The more gauges the better! The Complete Gauge Kit Add-On comes with everything you need to mount one or two additional gauges on your MINI.

All Second Generation John Cooper Works models have an N14 engine. For Second Generation JCWs please select the R56, R55, R57 option.

Top quality, looks great!

I installed the flexpod dual gauge kit, boost and water temp. All the parts are beautifully made and finished, and the Marshall gauges match the interior perfectly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Kellen followed up quickly on the one question I had. I'm really pleased and happy with my purchase. The only nit that I have is the wire supplied with the kit was solid rather than stranded, but then I'm obsessive compulsive.

One note to anyone considering a boost gauge for a Mini with the N18 engine, because of the way the ECU and VANOS system control the manifold pressure, a boost gauge is kind of boring - you'll only see vacuum for the first few minutes until the engine warms up, then it shows 0 unless you're on the gas hard. Not Craven or Marshall's fault, it's the way the N18 engine behaves. So consider oil temp or pressure for the second gauge.

I recently purchased four Marshall gauges,flexpod brackets and sending units. They match the original Mini gauges perfectly and function beautifully. I chose the amber lighting to match the original gauges and used the included chrome trim rings to match the chrome line interior of my Clubman. They give my dash an exotic car look,and I'm very happy with the end product. As for CravenSpeed, they're the best aftermarket vendor I've ever delt with. They return calls, answer tech questions and they even called later to see if I was happy with the gauges. That is unheard of nowdays! They deserve an A+.

Glad to do business with a company that cares about us consumers; I lost my set screws for the Toyota Flexpod which I "highly recomend" sent email in morning 2 hrs later I had a shipping notice and tracking # That is Customer Care Will absolutley buy from again

Nice product, fit and finish are nice. Would be nice to have some more instructions. It is an intuitive install if you have some experience with gauge sending units. Takes quite a while to make the install look professional, but it can be done. The kit comes with everything as advertised, but is short on wire. The instructions are very general and do not cover the different car models very well. Contacted customer service for more instructions, but never heard back. Bottom line is I have been looking for a gauge system for my 03 cooper S and these fit well, just a little more work than i expected.
