Better Than The Stock MINI Dipstick
It's a Quick Read
We created our Dipper to read just like the stock one. The lowest groove indicates you need to add approx. 1 quart of oil, the middle point indicates about 1/2 quart of oil, and the top groove means your oil is full.
Fits Almost All MINIs
Our second gen model fits all prince N14 and N18 engines. That means if you have a Countryman, Clubman, Coupe or Roadster it does not matter if it is a base, S or JCW model this dipstick will be perfect. Some goes for any hatchback MINI Coopers from 2007 to 2014 and convertibles from 2009 to 2014.
If you have a first generation MINI, then we can only supply a dipstick if you have the supercharged S or JCW model. It's nothing against the 'Justa Coopers,' only that there are not as many around these days!
Disclaimer Alert! Oven mitts should never come into the equation, but please be careful touching anything that close to your Turbo!

I had extreme difficulty reading the original dipstick and bought a craven dipstick. It was the exact same length as the original and was very easy to take in and out. It was real easy to read which is the most important feature.

The original design sucks in comparison to Craven's design, which I find incredibly bad. There's really no comparison. If you see any issues at all inserting or removing the original dipstick from a mini cooper S, then you need to get this. It's well worth it.

2015 MINI Cooper S Convertable...
Great product, easy to use, better than OEM along with great support team regarding questions I had!
No worries about breaking off like the OEM version. Easy to read, quality built, worth the cost!

Ok. Have to say, this is the best dipstick one could ever imagine..... It won't break in my lifetime and is silky smooth in/out.
And I can actually read it with ease.
5 stars. I suspect it cost a lot to make, so I don't begrudge the price.

Simple easy to read oil levels, no worrying about breaking off.

Easy to read. Requires a limp technique to re-position but no big deal. The knob is quite hot, so it's best to check it after the system cools. Honestly, I don't know why they tried to reinvent the wheel when a simple piece of flat spring steel works just fine.

Happy to finally have accurate oil level reading.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased the CravenSpeed dipstick and I have to say that it is much better than the OEM part it replaces. Gone are the days of playing King Arthur as I struggled to pull the "sword" out of the stone.
It takes a little practice getting the dipstick in/out without making a mess, but once you figure it out there's no looking back.
The red handle is very sturdy/solid and adds a nice touch of red flare to the engine bay. I have no regrets with this product.

I can actually read the oil level on this dipstick. The OEM dipstick was always a"well, I think the whole tip looks wet??" sort of a thing. I like this one because the reading level is obvious and I even think the thing looks cool. The handle color matches the strut bar color by coincidence. Awesome.

The dipstick is an extremely flaccid cable, almost like a piece of string and it is very messy to deal with. While it is somewhat easier to read than the original, its not worth the mess or the price. Until they make a real dipstick, AVOID PEOPLE!
I feel ripped off and would like to return it for a full refund.
