The Stubby antenna replacement is the simplest way to improve the look of your car. Maybe you just need a short antenna for your garage, or so you can go through a car wash without breaking anything. In less time than it takes to carefully lay down a vinyl decal, you can get this Stubby Antenna installed on your car or truck. Depending on how tight your long whip antenna was bolted down at the factory, you may not even need any tools for this shorty. Just unscrew the old and hand tighten the new short antenna. I am sure that you will notice the new look every time you look at your vehicle.

For many years we have received requests for shorter antennas to fit new vehicles all the time. We have several different sizes and thread types to choose from and we have selected the correct option for each vehicle on our list. Stubby is not Short on Strength

The Stubby is machined from billet 6061 aluminum, and then had the texture powder coat baked on. That means you can run this short antenna replacement through the brush off-road and then go through the car wash without worrying about it breaking, chipping or fading. This rigid antenna replacement will not affect any satellite services such as On-Star, GPS or Sirius Radio.

Good, but still above the roof rack

I got this so my antenna doesn't stick out above the roof rack. So I could throw a sheet of plywood or whatever on top of the 2011 Grand Cherokee WK2. It's still about an inch tall for that though, so it didn't provide the desired results. Good product though, threaded right in.

Bought this for my 2005 F150. I really like the sleek look of it. I live in a pretty small town in the middle of Nevada and still get the same radio that I got with the stock antenna

My last on on my Tundra worked great, but this new one on my 2013 Tacoma does not get any good reception on AM stations
No more wacking the antenna in and out of the garage

Ordered the antenna on the weekend, got it in 3 days from Oregon to Ohio. Removed the old antenna with a 5/16 open end wrench. put some diaelectric grease on the threads installed it with my left hand. So easy a cave man could do it. Reception is just as good as the old antenna.
No more breaking off antenna when going in and out of garage.

The antenna is just as described. The fit and finish is top notch and it really looks great on the F150. I have always put a billet "shorty" antenna (usually a 9" or 12") on my trucks just for that added look and to make my truck look a little different than the rest. As soon as my wife saw the new "stubby" antenna she said "Why didn't you put that one on first. It looks way better than the other one."

For anyone who is wondering about reception. I live approximately 30-35 miles outside of New Orleans and I have not had a problem with reception.
