The Perfect Belt for Your New Supercharger Pulley

If you are changing to one of our reduction supercharger pulleys , you may need to switch belts while you are at it. Although you can use the stock belt with a 15% pulley, it is optimal to switch it out for a smaller one. Replacing your belt is pretty much a necessity if you are running our 17% reduction pulley. If the belt has to come off anyway, do yourself a favor and install one that will last.

Why Do I Need A New Belt?

Upgrading to our supercharger reduction pulleys changes the distance your belt needs to travel because the pulley is physically smaller. The belt tensioner can pick up the slack with the 15% reduction pulley installed, but it's better to get the right belt for the job.

Even if you aren't installing a supercharger reduction pulley, or if you are installing our stock-size lightweight crank pulley, we can assume your MINI Cooper has quite a few miles on it. Your belt might be worn or cracked, so save yourself the headache down the road by swapping it out now.

Free Domestic Shipping

We ship orders every weekday. All orders placed by 2:00 pm PT will ship the same day. You will receive a shipping notification when we print the label for your order. The tracking will not indicate that the order has been shipped until it is picked up and scanned in by the carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PT on Friday will ship on Monday.
