Scratch and Dent?
Occasionally, we get new parts or returns that have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect the functionality of the part. Rather than toss them in the scrap bin, we offer the parts for sale at a deeply discounted price. In many cases, the location of the blemish prevents it from even being seen once the part is installed. Like all of our products, we still guarantee it to be the correct fit and to work properly and will offer to exchange components should anything need adjustment. Please note that we do not issue refunds for scratch and dent parts.
Shifting Intensifies
The GR86 already has a great feeling shifter. But shifters are kind of our thing and we knew we had a great opportunity to come up with a crisp short shifter when we picked up our car. We took our time and really dug into every detail. The result is a buttery smooth stainless steel shifter that reduces throw by over 30%.
Long Road to Short Shifts
Our experience designing shifters goes all the way back to 2004 and the R53 MINI Cooper. Since then we've developed a wide range of shifters and shift knobs that have all seen great success. For the GR86 we have combined all of that experience into a beautiful complementary shifter and knob combo that looks great and feels even better.
Simplified Aesthetic
Our goal was to create an elegantly simple shifter with a premium feel. To achieve the look we were going for we reworked the reverse lockout mechanism and integrated it into the shifter itself. To select reverse you can simply push down on the shift knob to get past the reverse lockout plate. The knob meets a matching acetal sleeve to transition smoothly to the factory shift boot.
Materials Are Key
Those familiar with CravenSpeed parts will recognize our choice of materials. The main shifter assembly and knob core are machined from high quality stainless steel. The knob ball, transition sleeve, and reverse lockout plate are acetal. The lockout spacer and knob cap are aluminum. The cap is powdercoated black while the spacer is annodized red. The cap features our standard CravenSpeed 6-Speed shift pattern. Additional colors and engravings are available here .
Free Domestic Shipping
We ship orders every weekday. All orders placed by 2:00 pm PT will ship the same day. You will receive a shipping notification when we print the label for your order. The tracking will not indicate that the order has been shipped until it is picked up and scanned in by the carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PT on Friday will ship on Monday.
