The CravenSpeed Shift Knob was designed modular top cap, which means it is super easy to change up the look of your shift knob. Whether you're curating a particular look, or you just want to change it up, a Swappable Shift Knob Cap is perfect upgrade for you ride. We have a range of colors, premade made designs, and shift patterns to choose from. We even have custom laser engraving available!
To order a custom design select the "custom" engraving option. Once you place your order we will contact you via to discuss your design.
How It Works
Each Swappable Shift Knob Cap is machined right here in Oregon from either 6061 aluminum or stainless steel, and colored with a high quality powder coat or anodization.
Your desing choice is then etched into the surface with our engraving laser machine. fires a highly focused beam of energy at your cap, blasting away the color coating at the precise locations we choose. In order to know where it should fire, the laser needs a map for each design. This map is provided as a solid black and white graphic, where white = "do not fire" and black = "FIRE THE LASER!"

Customer Design Policy: In our efforts to protect the rights of intellectual property owners of copyrighted and trademarked material, we have decided to err on the side of caution and only engrave designs that we judge to be clearly within the realm of public domain and fair use. Designs such as trademarked logos and slogans and copyrighted characters, symbols, and images are protected designs that we cannot engrave at this time. With that being said, if you are the owner of the intellectual property behind the design, then we’d be more than happy to engrave it for you. Artwork that doesn’t meet these guidelines must be altered or replaced altogether before we can accept it.
Design Limitations: We can turn just about any design into engravable artwork but there are some limitations. Highly detailed designs will lose some of that detail in the engraving process. We also have no control over the engraving color. The only two colors are the selected powder coat or anodize color and that of the silver-gray aluminum underneath. The engraving on stainless steel comes out black, and looks amazing!
Fonts: If your design contains text and you would like to specify a font, please choose one of the fonts available at fonts.google.com . We can only use open source fonts, so if you see this message at the top of the search results, you'll need to find a different font: "No matches in the open source catalog. Viewing families from external foundries."
In most cases we can offer our usual same day shipping on the caps. If we have questions about the design we'll need to clear them up before we can engrave your cap. If you aren't sure about your design send a message to Logan (our graphics wizard). His email address is logan@cravenspeed.com
Free Domestic Shipping
We ship orders every weekday. All orders placed by 2:00 pm PT will ship the same day. You will receive a shipping notification when we print the label for your order. The tracking will not indicate that the order has been shipped until it is picked up and scanned in by the carrier. Orders placed after 2:00 pm PT on Friday will ship on Monday.
