Whether you’re heading to a car show or selling the vehicle later on, you can simply unscrew the mount to restore that clean, original look. It leaves no holes to plug and zero evidence it was ever there, ensuring your X7’s resale value stays exactly where it should be.

Car Wash Ready

We're big believers that a touchless wash is the only way to go for an X7's paint job, but we know sometimes a rag wash is your only option. We planned for that. Using the included wrench, you can loosen the bolt just a quarter turn and slide the plate off in about a minute. It’s quick enough to do while you’re sitting in line, but you don't have to worry about it coming loose on the road. The backing is perfectly balanced so it stays secure while you're driving and comes off only when you want it to.

Built With High Quality Materials

We don't cut corners on the hardware. The mounting plate is full-sized and finished with a textured black powder coat that looks great against the X7’s grille. The stud itself is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and black anodized for extra durability. We machine these studs to the high end of the receiver's tolerance, so they fit tight and stay put while you're driving.

We also include stainless steel button-head screws that are the exact length needed for your plate. They’re designed to sit flush and won't stick out the back to scratch your bumper. It’s a solid, rattling-free setup that’s built to last as long as the car does. Note: if you would like to install a plate frame or plate cover you will need a longer set of hardware here.
