Built to last forever
Every Stubby is made here in the US of A and is specifically designed for its particular application. They are machined out of 6061 billet aluminum and then powder coated with a black textured finish, so you know that a Stubby will never break, chip, or fade.
Reception is Key
Not only does the Stubby look great, it actually works great too. If you are curious about reception, our best advice is to read the reviews. You can see that some customers have definitely had problems getting good reception. I can assure you it is statistically uncommon though, and we always accept and pay for returns if you are not satisfied with your Stubby for any reason.
Harley Made it Easy
Our antenna for Harley-Davidson motorcycles has been found to fit almost every single Harley out there. It will fit the CB antenna base, but we do not recommend replacing your CB antenna with the Stubby antenna. It's not going to function well for CB, and could possibly damage your CB radio.
Many Harley antennas disconnect in two places. One part can be unplugged from a socket, and then further up the actual antenna can be unscrewed. If you are having trouble installing the antenna, make sure you have unscrewed the end.
Made for Harley
Harley has made it easy for us and used the same size antenna on nearlly all of there touring class bikes. We haven't found a bike yet that our Stubby didn't fit. Whether you are riding two up and need a bit more room for your passenger to get on, or if you're just tired of snagging your hear on your antenna, The Stubby is an excellent addition to any bike.

I live in Riverview, FL the antenna farm of West central FL. If I can't get all the local stations nobody will. I wouldn't recommend this product at all.
Not so much

Looks great but not functional lost several radio channels

The Stubby Antenna works better than the stock one did on my 2016 Ultra Limited Harley. I gave a friend a set at Christmas for his Harley. He is getting between a quarter and half mile reception on his CB. The best part is you can put your cover over your bike without bending your antennas

I do not have this hooked to my radio, I have a hidden antenna in my fairing. I purchased this to get rid of the whip antenna and to cover the threads of the old antenna mount. It fit, it looks awesome.
Great looks and function

Looks great on my bike and I pull the same stations and signal strength as the stock antenna.
doesn't clear the rear fender

Stubby Antenna a mistake

Mounted on Street Glide and reception was much worst then expected. Count not catch any AM channels and only one FM that faded in and out when riding.

I called and asked if that product works and they said yes it does not work and I would think that a company should know if their product works or not
Does not work

Efficient & streamline, but I would like one that's CB compatable.
HAD TROUBLE FINDING

I HAD TROUBLE FINDING A STUBBY ANTENNA, I BOUGHT 2 OF THESE FOR MY 2012 ULTRA LIMITED, THEY LOOK VERY GOOD, THEY WORK GOOD FOR RADIO, BUT I DOUBT THE ONE FOR THE CB WILL WORK, BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I DON'T USE THE CB.

The Stubby has a great look on my Street Glide being small and convenient, however, I did lose some radio stations that I had using the whip antenna. That said I love the low profile look too much to go back to the whip antenna.
FITS GREAT !!!

Short Antenna and Short Service
Posted by Unknown on 5th Sep 2016
The serve my purpose of replacing my stock antennas. Needed shorter so I could put my bike cover all the way down in the back. I did lose some of my quality of being able to pick up my normal stations. 4 stars due to that!
Stubby Antenna for Harley Davidson

I got my stubby antenna from Harley-Davidson and was very pleased. Took the whip off & put the stubby on, didn't lose any reception and my antenna is nice and tucked into the fender and out of the way I couldn't ask for a better product.
Excellent Materials and Craftmanship, Not Quite a 5 out of 5

This antenna is marketed to fit Harley Davidson Touring Models and to use the same mount that the much taller factory antenna occupies but which (at least for me) won't work when you add a Tour Pack to a Street Glide/Road Glide. The Stubby Antenna is very short and barely peeks out of the hole in the "fender." It looks cool. It's well made. It picks up strong FM stations, not so much the marginal ones and certainly not the Weather Band. The antenna could be taller and still fit under the Tour Pack, which would add to it's reception performance, maybe allowing it to pick up the weather band; no way to know for sure. I live in the the close suburbs and the weather station is fairly strong here otherwise. CravenSpeed should make a "less stubby" Stubby.
tired of the old whip antennas ? must get these

very good quality look sharp put them on the ultra and tri glide reception is very good

Great substitution for the originals! No longer do I have to fight with the longer antennas to gain access to my tour pack. Radio reception as good as the originals. They don't work with the CB but I don't use that feature anyway.
16 Street Glide..didn't work for me!

Craven customer service: Excellent
Stubby looks: Perfect
Stubby performance: Less than acceptable.
If you're in an urban area I'm sure it would be great or rural surrounded by 100k watt stations but for me I'm not.
Reception was not good for stations I picked up perfectly with the HD stock shorty antenna.
Disappointed so I went back to stock and will look for other options for a cleaner look.
Service and looks get 5*'s but my 2* rating is for my specific application.
Harley Rosd Glide 2015.... Did not work. Bad reception.

as good or better
Posted by Chad H on 19th Mar 2016
I've noticed reception is as good or maybe even better than the factory whip. It's very sturdy and durable with the low profile I was looking for.
