Let's get started

Open your hood and locate the battery on the driver side of the engine compartment.

There are two (2) 10mm screws located just to the left of the battery that need to be removed. Utilize your ratchet wrench with a 10mm socket and long extension.

Replace both of these screws with an M6 threaded, long ball stud with a washer and a flange nut. Set the top of the ball studs at distance of 5 inches from the washer mounting surface. Tighten with your 10mm combination wrench while holding the ball stud so it doesn't turn while tightening the nut.

On the driver side fender wall there are two (2) 1/2" hex screws that need to be loosened to about an 1/8" gap.

Set the fender wall bracket into the screw gaps and seat it all the way down and tighten.

All that is left is to place the hook tabs of the battery shield through the corresponding tabs of the fender wall bracket, pull it forward engaging the hooks and then clicking down the quick connects engaging the ball studs. To remove, simply press the center buttons of the quick connects and reverse the install.
